Holland Selected as 2009 Carrier of the Year by Hamilton Sundstrand
OVERLAND PARK, Kan., May 14, 2010 - Holland, a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide Inc. (Nasdaq: YRCW) has been named 2009 Carrier of the Year by Hamilton Sundstrand Logistics Council. Hamilton Sundstrand is one of the world's largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products.
To determine rankings, the Hamilton Sundstrand Logistics Council rated its suppliers based on six key criteria: in-transit service, operations, customer service, billing, loss and damage claims, and rates and technology. Out of a perfect score of 140, Holland scored an overall 123 for the year and also ranked highest for each quarter of 2009.

This marks the third time over the past month that Holland has been recognized for an exceptional customer experience. Recently, the company also secured a 2009 Supplier Excellence Award for the fourth consecutive year from Eastman Chemical Company, and a 2009 Regional Carrier of the Year Award from Echo Global Logistics.
